Roof top safety systems for routine maintenance

South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA) decided to install roof top safety systems to enable routine maintenance of air conditioning units to be carried out on a roof of their Sheffield office. SYHA identified Kee Systems as the preferred supplied to implement their requirements.

SYHA is a charitable organisation managing more than 6,000 homes and supporting hundreds of people to lead independent lives.

Kee Systems undertook the roof safety systems work for SYHA and recommended the KeeGuard Free Standing Roof Edge Protection system together with the Kee Mark demarcation system for the following reasons:

  • KEEGUARD Free Standing Roof Edge Protection was advised to enable routine maintenance to be carried out on roof top safely.
  • Due to air conditioning units on the roof being located only on 2 sides of the 6 sided building, upon site survey we recommended the KEE MARK system would be the most cost effective solutions in areas that exceed 2m from roof edge and where no access would be required.
