Kee Klamp® Key Clamp Fittings – Safety Barriers, Guardrail, & Handrail Systems
Kee Klamp® Key Clamp Fittings have been the global leader in the construction of tubular structures, handrails, safety barriers and guardrails for over 80 years.
The versatility of these fittings means they can be used to construct virtually anything from signs and furniture to restaurant tables and bar areas, but three common uses are:
- Safety barriers and guardrails for highways, railways and pedestrian walkways
- Warehouse, factory and mezzanine barriers
- Handrails for inclines and steps
Our ground-based barrier solutions protect and separate people from hazards and are constructed from galvanised Kee Klamp® Key Clamp Fittings and tube.
Galvanised steel Kee Klamp® Key Clamp Fittings fittings offer the most flexible solution for the construction of handrails, safety barriers and railings. Solutions can be designed to specific on-site requirements both indoors and outside.
Kee Klamp® Access – DDA Compliant Handrails
DDA handrails help you comply with the Equality Act 2010 and building regulations Part M which require a continuous smooth surface.
The handrails must always be terminated in such a way that it alerts users that it is coming to an end; this is achieved by using a D return or similar.
An additional bottom rail must also be used when a drop off exists at the bottom of a ramp; thus preventing a wheelchair falling off of the edge.
This type of handrail allows a hand to comfortably pass along the railing from start to end without the need to let go; this makes a very big difference to somebody with a disability, whether it be a physical disability, or visually impaired; the uninterrupted assistance of the handrail allows them to manoeuvre obstacles such as inclines and stairwells safely.
Kee Lite – Aluminium Handrails
Kee Lite components are made from a high-grade Aluminium Silicon Magnesium Alloy. Aluminium safety railings are ideally suited to harsh environments, where corrosion resistance is important.
Due to the superior corrosion resistance, aluminium KEE LITE railings offer extremely low maintenance solutions, particularly in outdoor settings such as coastal or exposed locations.
Kee Lite can be easily installed with a hex tool and tube cutters, so there is no need for welding or specialist installation skills. It is securely locked into place using recessed set screws, that provide a sleek and smooth look to your railing system.
Modular Solutions for Quick & Easy Installations
Kee Systems ground based railings do not require on-site welding, making them quick and simple to construct in virtually any configuration.
Standard tube sizes are joined together with the Kee Klamp® Key Clamp Fittings which are easily and securely locked to the tube with hexagon socket set screws. No fabrication is involved in the construction of these safety barriers.
