Roof Safety Matting is a temporary work platform to prevent users from falling onto the joists of the floor below, or even further. They use XSpan technology, made of lightweight but resistant aluminium. Mats are safe fall prevention systems that are adjustable in length and width. CoverSafe mats prevents falls when spreading roof trusses, fitting wind braces, or working on a girder truss or hip roof construction.
CoverSafe Mats are made of aluminium, including the rivets. This means that are resistant, lightweight and weather-proof; they will not rust and degrade.
The mats are formulated with aluminium to create a lightweight but resistant fall prevention system that is adjustable in length and width thanks to the XSpan technology. The CoverSafe mats can be transported to the site in a van or secured tightly to the roof-rack.

The The maximum working load of the CoverSafe mat is 150kg and one mat weighs 11.5kg. To cover a full area, simply take your area in m² and divide it into 2.4 m. Round up to the nearest full number.
E.g. 48 m² / 2.4 m = 20 mats needed.
CoverSafe roof safety matting can be used as a floor refurbishment mat to stop workers falling through open voids in the floors.
The CoverSafe Roof Safety Mats are made entirely from aluminium, including the rivets, which means they will not rust or degrade easily. The mats don’t slip when laid out on the trusses; in fact the mats are designed to interlock with each other and come with additional safety strap to secure to truss.
